This little shop has produced some of Europe's finest tablecloths and sheets for over 90 years. Owned and operated by the Castro family, Cristina and her son Victor are a wealth of knowledge about Portuguese linen and their family’s rich artistic heritage of manual embroidery. Many of their collections have been sold to European royalty and to famous names such as the Kennedy, Rockefeller, and Michael Douglas. It specializes in elegant linen, and artistic hand embroidery.

An old stone horse barn on the edge of the Alfama that  has been converted into a shop. Inside you’ll still find the stone feeding troughs and on the level above is an archeological sight with a ancient Roman amphitheater.
